First time ordering Alize Angora Gold Batik. It is a fingering weight yarn that is super soft. It has a bouncy quality to it that I like and a slight halo. I am making a woven wrap with it. The stitch definition is good. I plan to make several wearable items with this yarn.

This was my first time working with chenille yarn and I really liked it! It is very soft and the final product looks great. The label suggests 4.5mm crochet hook but for me it was too tight so I used 5mm and it felt just right.
When you cut the yarn the ends shed and fall apart which is a bit annoying, especially when you try to weave in the ends. Gladly, only the cut end sheds, the yarn itself does not.

I am in love with this yarn! This is my first time crocheting with a yarn like this and there is a bit of a learning curve. If you crochet it too tight it will look a bit weird. I'd recommend keeping it a bit looser. It does shed a lot when you work with it but afterwards it seems to hold up quite well! I'm only making a pillow out of this but I'd love to try using it for a plush!
