I sheared about 25 using 3 batteries. It normally would be more than that but several were difficult and slow shearing. The cutters were fairly sharp and did just fine.

So far the grinder is absolutely fine. The issue I have is with the batteries. Yes, they are Makita-styled, but they do not work in genuine Makita equipment, and they have to be charged using the separate charger. Where the Makita 'BL' battery would usually be charged (the yellow bit between the main terminals), there is a round power socket which connects to the supplied charger. Genuine Makita batteries work OK in the grinder. Well worth the money, but I would not have bought batteries ha...

I have been using it to dagg ewes, every bit as good as much more expensive versions, one battery lasting about 80 ewes.
I like that I can use makita batteries on this, however the batteries that come with it cannot be charged on makita charger or used on makita tools. The charger supplied feels hot and has no cooling fan......not to be left overnight. If I were to buy again I would get the bare unit and use makita battery and charger.

Worked fine and was impressed for a while cutting light sheet steel and aluminium a bit slow cutting wood but may ave been the blade anyhow after a while couple of months to be exact the mother started to smell and was getting very hot the while cutting some threaded bar it stopped and was smoking badly so let it cool down ( obviously out of warranty by time ) found that the motor has melted the cooling fan so probably won’t be buying again if it’s only going to last for a few months better off ...

It works fine . I bought it with no batteries as I had two with the One Van Power Driver that I bought a few months ago . The sprayer is OK but for the fact that it drains batteries quickly .

Had I known that the grease gun doesn't accept cartridges of any kind I wouldn't of wasted my money,filling from a bucket is messy and outdated,as well as sending a 2 pin plug for charging instead of a three pin UK plug that I've asked for,but I've screwed a cartridge directly onto the machine it seems to work but time will tell,also,this is the third tool bought and three times asked for UK chargers and never received

Haven't used it yet. Although all we intend to use it for is dagging sheep. Makita battery fits well. Although it's seems to have a hard vibration when turned on but not a big issue. If all that it was used for is dagging it is worth it. Handy held and manoeuvred. You can buy it with 1-3 battery's or use a Makita battery which is handy if you have Makita equipment
