When I picked this up in the store I thought it was fine...the lighting is not always the best there tho. A friend had picked it up for me so I thought it was o.k. When I got home and in better light you can see huge runs in the glaze so I am totally disappointed in it. It will be a long time before I spend $80 on a platter again. It really isn't even a good second....lesson learned for me. And with no returns I'm kind of stuck with it! Sad
