I had one of the original Mernini coats before it was in stores. Later, in subsequent production, reinforcing was placed in the shoulder seams, and since my coat pulled apart slightly, Mernini stood behind the product with absolutely no issues, and replaced the coat (Even though it took me longer than I should have to write them). Basically I rate my coat and their service with A+++. Over the years I’ve purchased a vest and 3 more coats + vests for family. Great product:)

I love the way it fits. The pockets are lovely, deep and easily accessible. When walking my dog there is sufficient room for keys etc. The dual zipper is handy for getting in and out of the car. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love my mernini. I have noticed a couple of things I’m not thrilled with though. The zipper sticks sometimes near the bottom when I first start zipping it up. Also, when I use the hand warmers the sleeves are too long on me. I wonder if maybe that would be rectified with one size smaller?

I can't wait until the rains of the spring and summer seasons to try out my new coat. Might not keep me warm in a blizzard. The fit is almost perfect. We knew the sleeves would be a bit long so we are looking at getting them shortened by our local seamstress. Nice that we are all built differently, but it's difficult to have a perfect fit for all. Thank you for your wonderful quality product and I will think of the picturesque province of Newfoundland and its friendly people whenever I wear it.

When it arrived it was too big ( I am normally a medium so I suggest sizing down)again Maria was very helpful and exchange for a different size was not an issue. I have only wore it once, however in that brief wearing I can attest to its superior construction, feel and look.I purchased a large and it fits beautiful.. I just love it! I also bought the raincoat in a a large in the regular size. Unfortunately the sleeves with hand warmers are too long , making it a little uncomfortable. In retrospect I think a large in the petite would have perfect. Is it possible to have the sleeves shortened?
