Very nice sturdy assembly that works simply but perfectly. I am running it in a 60 gallon cube, not a breeder. The cube is 24 inches deep so I had to raise the filter off the bottom with rocks. The aquarium is almost five years old and mature. I was able to insert the filter on the existing system by draining half of the water, leaving all coral and fish in place and working quickly. I did not silicone the unit in place and the rocks to lift along with the suction to the glass keeps it in place....

Perfect fit for my 24x24 tank stand. It’s hard to find an affordable sump of this size/shape with a seperate refugium. The baffles make it super easy to adjust the perfect flow to have constant rotation of the Chaeto ball (macroalgea) and that chamber is now crawling with copepods. The baffles also allow for fine tuning to make an ultra quiet sump… my 65 gallon tank is in my bedroom and the noise reduction is a huge improvement from my previous sump. Tank is great. Next time though I would only buy the ext tank and not the stand. The stand is not structurally sound enough for my comfort level and many other online reviews back up this feeling. I absolutely love this product exactly what I needed for my reef tank. Build quality is awesome. Looks very neat and professional. I got this for my Shallow SPS Reef Tank, the build is in progress. I got a custom built AOI sump and with the addition of two of these. I should be ok to go sumpless in my setup. I purchased this over the Innovative marine 50 lagoon model due to the 800 dollars in savings. I will say it's top notch quality. I will also say there could be room for improvements. One being the cabinet size as it's a little smaller than the tank front to back. The cabinet is good quality. The glass is good quality. does not fit the marine land (petsmart) 75 gallon due to the silicone used in the aquarium as intended, I tried, but the clearances from top to bottom are too tight and leave no room for factory/aquarium silicone. Even with some grinding to fit from top to bottom you have an about an inch from left to right. I,m completely satisfied with my purchase. I ordered the Fijicube 108 EXT full package. I was shortly notified that I will get the upgraded stand due to the older all wood stand wasn't available. I was given the option to cancel order or proceed. I'm glad I proceeded with order. The delivery of tank and stand came well packaged.
