Brought my new chunky chalk to Portland for some sports climbing. Just like magic chalk being the best liquid chalk I’ve ever tried, chalk rebel’s chunky chalk is THE BEST non liquid chalk I’ve ever used!!!
The texture of the chalk is very silky and fine, which felt very nice on my hands. One chalking up can last me a whole climb usually (routes are not super long tho) so it was fine that I forgot my chalk bag. My hands stayed dry the whole time and it wasn’t harsh on my skin.

This kit is really good in general. I love both liquid chalk and chunky chalk and I like a bit less soft chalk because it’s to soft and I don’t feel it when I take it in my chalk bag and also because it’s to volatile. I love this! I was not sure which chalk to buy but the sample made it very clear that I like the chunky chalk the best. The samples I got were more than enough to test in a couple of climbing sessions and even though I got this for testing the chalk powder, I liked the repair balm as well. An excellent product for endurance training. While it doesn't perform as well as MAGIC, it's definitely a far better liquid magnesium than any I've tested so far.
