I love the look of these boots and wore them all day straight away. The advice to order a half size up is wise as I originally ordered my usual size. BPrimal made the exchange process easy… very happy and bought another pair in obsidian to see me through winter.

I love that you're basically walking around barefoot but with protection for your soles. The mesh top is great you can even feel the breeze blowing through it.

Shoe is well made and pretty good. Purchased from Bprimal and excellent to deal with. Shoe is runs big. I have a low volume foot. Perhaps because of that, not sure. But when you wear it with thick socks and insoles that comes with it problem fixed.

My son loves them & actually wants to wear them however they seem to run a little large. After ordering the same size as his bprimal sand shoes & using the size virtual guide I contacted customer service they helped me choose the 27 instead of 28 however we could have definitely gone down another size as they are still far to big to wear yet. Excellent quality and they look nice too. Barefoot all the way

I sized up one size as advised in the description and the shoes fit well and my child is really happy with them. As another buyer mentioned, the straps are way too long. I cut them to size (6cm off the length) and unpicked the velcro myself and took them to a cobbler to sew and it still cost me $20, so I wouldn't buy again unless this problem was fixed in the meantime. I can see wear on the tread of the shoe after less than a week so I hope they have longevity. Pretty happy with these so far...

Really like the shoes, very snug where they need to be around the heel, and beautifully wide across the forefoot. Personally I just wish the sole rubber was more grippy, I've found them a bit slippery on my bike pedals.

Immediately comfortable. Waterproof and warm( have to wait for summer to find out how breatheable) Sole is a good shock absorber and good for rough ground. My calves are much less painful with the better walking action. for a size 46 EURO they are on the small side. its good that the shoes come with additional inner soles if you require a bit more padding for your transition to barefoot shoes. The freet yorks are suede like finish which I didnt realise but they look good and feel good once stretched out to fit my feet better.

As I’ve owned US size 14 Primals’ before I’m used to the fit. I find that for the same size the Zen Asphalt is slightly snug and ideally would have preferred a half size larger - unfortunately, not available.

It would be great if these came in a slightly smaller size. My daughter is in grade 2 and really wanted this style but she won't fit into them until next year, I've purchased the MJ style which comes in her size. The are great too, the only problem is the straps are extremely long.

Super comfy straight away. Light. Stylish. Good summer shoe, but too breezy for a cold winter! The white suede-like material at the toes keeps getting dirty for some reason so I have to clean that part regularly, but that’s no biggy. The sole felt slippery on wet floors. Might be an issue if you don’t like sliding.

I bought two pairs for my kids starting school. My son (size 42) had no no issues but my daughter (39) had some heel rubbing so we’ve bought a heel pad till the leather gives a bit. But the shoes are otherwise great and I would definitely buy again for next year. I like that that sole is a bit more substantial - my kids have vivobarefoot and complained they could feel the heat from the concrete. These are a bit more like trainers on the bottom which is a good mix.

Overall these shoes are well made. Zero drop. I like the grippy sole and breathability of the mesh upper as I live in Brisbane - hot! Unfortunately the synthetic soles made stinky feet (no socks- too hot) so I bonded leather onto them. Problem fixed and also slightly cooler. I will buy again.
