Great shoes. Very comfy even when soaking wet. Recommend wool sock liners like Injinji and mid weight socks. Great grip. Look good too.

Awesome lightweight hiking boots with thin flexible sole and heaps of padding around heel keeps foot insulated. Waterproof yes, out of the box these boots dont need breaking in. Affordable yes (compared to other brands). FREET FIX: the toebox needs to be the widest part of the shoe, not less than or equal to width of forefoot. Make toebox wide like belenka nevada.

Ordered a size up as suggested and I think that has been good. Still quite roomy in fore foot. Very comfy with good cushioning. Nice and flexible. Look good. Will be ideal for everyday use and work.

At first I was very skeptical about ordering footwear on line but then impressed with bPrimal's system and process (using the A4 paper - very clever) and my son's recommendation got me over the line. The Lems boots arrived as promised and I'm very happy with the fit, comfort and quality. The sole is a little thicker/stronger than I expected - so I'm not as concerned about wearing them in tougher terrain as I thought I may have been.

It's hard to find a black leather shoe with a wide toe box and zero drop with some cushion to it that looks nice as well. This is the best I could find. It does the job.

New favourite shoe, like a slipper but great to wear out. Plenty of room for my toes and a good grip thanks to the high cut and elastic sides. My toes quickly got used to the seam and I have worn them walking and outside.

my daughter loves these shoes, AND the toe socks. the only thing is, the velcro straps are a little long once they are tightened to her liking so i will have to cut and restitch so they dont drag on the floor. but otherwise amazing shoes. cant knock them and will be interested to see how long they last. Love these boots! I’m a women and needed to exchange for half a size up as they came up small. I also suspect that they aren’t unisex, I’d say that they are men’s boots that come in smaller sizes, as they are quite wide on the toes and forefoot. This suits me fine, but may be less suitable for women with smaller and more narrow feet.

A friend turned up to meet me for a coffee & I noticed her amazing looking shoes. They were Lems - Primal 2 in a beautiful olive colour. They looked great. True to size suggested as going up one size for this particular shoe. A little classier to wear than the Lems 2 and colour will go well with all trousers for my trip to the uk. Very comfortable as always and great there is removable insole as I know the ethos is to walk flat but unfortunately I have to have instep support only so(as I know many people do at my age!) room to fit these in. These are my third pair of LEMS footwear, my first hiking boots. They are an excellent quality boot and are really comfortable to wear. I’m looking forward to getting back into hiking in the mountains again later this year. Until then I will be training in these regularly.

Great boots, very soft and comfortable, definitely a colder climate shoe as they are quite sweaty. They are surprisingly water proof which also means they don't drain if you get them wet. Very hopeful these will last the miles, fingers crossed!

Excellent boots! They look nice, and after wearing them for a day I’d say I couldn’t have hoped for a better hiking boot. I usually size up due to having wide feet, and I found my freet pace’s in size 42 to fit well. However I wouldn’t have wanted to go any smaller than a 43 in these boots. They are roomy enough to wear thick socks, but don’t feel too roomy without them either.

I love these short boots, they have become my new favourite shoe. They look good with lots of different outfits and are very comfortable. Having read other reviews about the sizing being a bit small, I chose a bigger size than my Lem 9-5s. This has worked out perfectly and I can wear them with or without Correct Toes. You have to release quite a bit of laces getting them on and off. I love the design, that I can wear shoes that look good without my feet being squashed.

Just love my Lems. Exactly as advertised and super quick delivery. These shoes are like wearing slippers, only more comfy and robust! Although I’m usually a 7.5 female shoe size, having had a previous pair of this exact same shoe I knew I needed half a size larger (size 8) for a perfect fit. Maybe other Lems shoes would offer more toe space I'm still transitioning to minimalist shoes so it's too early for me to say how good they are Thanks for putting so much effort in making a shoe that make our feet healthier. This is my first pair of Lems shoes and I wasn't sure of the American sizing. The size 10 boulder boot is quite large and wide for me. However, I went on my first trek today with them and they were super light, comfy and grippy enough. On the improvement side of things, I would prefer an all leather lining which would be more hard wearing.

Inspite of swapping out for a bigger size (thank you Bprimal for your help) I still had to remove insoles to get my feet comfotably into the shoes. My feet are tall and wide, so not a product problem, a me problem. I would go up another size next time.

I’m happy to give a review even though I don’t have my boots yet. I recommend you go for a full size and a half bigger to get your size. However, it’s all good if you get it wrong because you can easily exchange your purchase for the correct size. I got great help when I went online and there was someone there straight away to help me. I am looking forward to getting the correct size. The pair I received but had to send back was absolutely beautiful. Great feel and fantastic look.

I spent a great deal of time researching what would be the best fit for me. I have been wearing vibram five finger for years and wanted a sandal that would fit me like a glove and be tough enough to handle the challenges. The Shama Maximus ultra grip feels great so far. I’ve only had them for a few days. With a vibram sole I expect longevity and great grip. Happy to use these sandals in all situations

These are a small size, admittedly I have flippers but size 15 is what I need. Before I ordered I did check this with bprimal and they gave good advice on sizing and it was right on straight away. These were comfortable out of the box. I just finished three days of hiking around and they are brilliant. I left this review for a couple months to make sure they are as good as I hoped.
