Easy to order , arrived in a week. I have the GWM H6 GT PHEV . The jack etc fit under the floor of the boot and the wheel doesn't take up too much space in the "boot" . I wasn't comfortable with just the repair kit and air compressor. This means that after a damaged tyre we can continue on our way , not sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tilt tray truck to take you to the nearest town , which may or may not have a replacement wheel and or tyre.

'European' cars like my Volvo have plastic covers fitted over the wheels bolts. These need to be removed using a suitable 'wheel bolt cover removal tool' before the bolts can be undone. In the absence of such a tool being included, I made one from a piece of stiff wire. Given how necessary it is, I would have expected such a tool to have been included in the wheel changing kit.

As described, the space saver fits over the brake caliper on the front wheel of my 135i with space. It fits in the lower shelf on the boot perfectly also with the tool kit, it’s a snug fit, so there’s no movement during driving, no need to secure it in - perfect. The boot floor will sit completely flat at the original lower position with this space saver installed.
It’s a really tight fit if you want to use the Braumach carry bag, but it can be done. When fitted like this the boot floor will be raised about 15mm from the original position.
