This stand is impressive and I am pleased. We ordered the darker version and it looks and meets the descriptions provided. Although it did take awhile (approximately 3 hours) to assemble, the fire place portion and the stand itself arrived a day apart, I would certainly recommend this purchase.

I am 72, and I can easily get up from it. The seat is quite firm but I understand from other reviews that it will soften over time. The price was very reasonable.
