I bought this as a 'cheap' option thinking it might last for one season in Cornwall. Two years later and after huge amounts of use in every environment it is still fantastic. I even had fun on the surf in Bude. As a water sports enthusiast this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I would tend to buy a more expensive paddle if looking to the long term to avoid corrosion.

Another stunning board by Hurley! Usual quality standards of Aquaplanet boards, reliable and decent quality. Much more stable than the 10'6 Hurley which is only 30" wide, you'll notice the difference on this board as it's bigger in both length and width. Useful features like the elastic strings at both front and back, and the D rings along the sides. As this board is bigger, it is definitely more of a challenge to get it into the top opening bag...roll it tight! But you can purchase an Aquaplane...

This board is very stable. It is not a board for speed or manoeuvrability. I bought this board as being a reasonably large guy (100kg) and also being the dad of a large family, I need to transport the lunches/belongings whilst the family enjoy their boards and also have space for my youngest as and when he gets tired. This board is a beast. I have used it in some severe weather/waves and it did not let me down once. Its a workhorse. If you want a fast slick board. This is not for you.

I bought my second vest as I needed a smaller one so the younger ones are safe. Have a large and a medium. I like these because they buckle up at the sides not the front so it is easier to get back on the board.

Easy to set up and comes with a large carry bag to keep all of the set up together which is so handy. Also easy to put away, rolls up to save space. Easily the best investment we have made as a family, gives us plenty of quality time together.

This board was smaller than what I have used in the past, but that means it's lighter to carry and although I seemed a little wobbly to begin with on the board, I got used to it very quickly and am delighted. Its easy to assemble and carry around. The bag that comes with it is a real highlight for me as its good quality, and has pockets or straps for your paddle and pump. Tested it in Exeter Quay and was brilliant. Highly recommend this quality board if you're thinking about it.

I entered the competition and paid £12 for 2 entries but I never received an email with my 2 ticket numbers. Also the odds quoted when I purchased the entries were incorrect. It said 2 tickets gave me odds of 1/250 when 1 ticket has odds of 1/500. (For future competitions please be aware that the odds when purchasing 2 tickets would therefore be 2/500) for these reasons I doubt the competition was run fairly and feel mis-sold
