Very comfortable and supportive and it doesn't lose its shape and firmness after you've been wearing it for a while, unlike some cheaper supports. The only (very) slight negative is that the velcro fastening rubbed a bit after I had been wearing it for many many hours, but that might have been because I am at the very top end of one size and didn't want to risk having less support from the larger size. On balace, the best knee brace I have tried by far.

My brother who is bed and wheelchair bound said the gel is brilliant and it really does help. However, for sitting purposes a slightly larger one would be better to cover a larger area of the bottom and help relieve pressure sores. We have previously ordered the larger sheet which i believe is now discontinued and he said that the outer coating of the gel pad is slightly tougher. Overall the gel is fantastic and he really is the better of having it.

I bought this splint as I have arthritis in my thumb joint. It’s well made and I hope it will help. However I have some muscle loss around the thumb so it doesn’t fit as snuggly as I would like and there is no way of fixing this unless I add extra padding - hence the loss of one star.
