In my opinion, these things did exactly what you said they would do. They definitely did knock down the wind noise. However, I had trouble hearing my coms device with them in. I feel this is probably due to my current state of hearing health, and not the plugs.
They fit comfortably inside the helmet all day long, and on a very positive note I did not hear my My Wife complain, one single time that day!

Really good. I’ve been using foam ones for years which do work but often fall out. These are much smaller, fit well and stay in. Highly recommend. In fact I gave some to my daughter. They have a muting effect on annoying sounds but she can still hear if the baby cries.

I went a short ride with the ear plugs in and after a short stop, for a chat, rode away without putting them back in.
I went about 2 miles and stopped and put them in.
They now will be in my ears whenever I ride and the storage case will be in my outer pocket.
A little expensive to get but glad I made the purchase.

When they arrived I tried all of the ear plug ends until I found the ones that suited me. I found them comfortable while putting on and taking off my helmet, and while riding they reduced the amount of wind noise without impeding the sound from my Cardo headset. My only observation is that the arms aren't quite "open" enough to easily grab the corners of my Galaxy S23 that's wrapped in OtterBox rubber armor, so I have to push the arms slightly to properly "grab" the phone.
