I used the Sunny Side Up Yellow to make a Chanterelle Mushroom selected for the color. I am pretty new to this craft so although it felted easily, it did take more effort to felt to a smooth finish because there is naturally a little more chunkiness to it, but I really liked the slight flecks of color variation it gave and will be trying other colors of the felted fleece as well.

Don’t skip the video whatever you do, helpful instructions such as gradually changing the shape, getting areas to feel more dense, are very important. I even had enough pink to make one more baby bunny. I’m hooked on this new hobby!

I bought this for a work team building activity. It ended up being pretty economical. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and, though crafting skills varied widely, no one was discouraged. I wish the colors were more interesting and varied, but there was an ample supply. The needles are fragile; a few broke. We spent about 90 min creating ornaments, and that was about right. I would recommend this, and I would do it again.
