Huge fan if this practice journal. Just bought a second one and grabbed a couple for my dad as well because he also plays. The structured (but flexible) approach to planning and reviewing practices makes a big difference and is a lot more effective then the more free form tracking journal I was using before. As a chamber musician and freelancer I do a lot of projects at once, the notebook allows me to very easily make a plan that won’t get lost in a planner/journal that is used for other purposes. I like the spiral bound option, which makes it easy to put on a music stand. I like that it is part of a ritual for practice, and it’s also helpful for reeds (I record how many I worked on and in what stages they are in).
