I recently purchased both the Montecielo "Cafe' De Tarrazu" and the Tueste Oscuro "Dark Roast" whole beans in the two pound quantity. Both have exquisite taste. The Montecielo is rated a seven on the "roast" scale while the Tueste Oscuro is an eight. Naturally the Montecielo is somewhat milder. Both have very low acidity which allows the taste of the more unique natural coffee taste and aroma to manifest its self in the brew. The Tueste Oscuro has stronger, pungent taste and smell overtones...
