I really appreciate customer service’s response to my issue with receiving whole bean bags when I needed ground. Not sure how that happened since I have been ordering this coffee for years. Customer Service simply sent me another order, this time with ground coffee. I didn’t have to send the whole bean back. As a goodwill gesture, he said to give it to someone with a grinder and that will let them know about the coffee. That was wonderful!! Very much appreciated since trying to return the whole ...

I usually buy only local espresso coffee beans from our coffee roasters where I live. I decided to try out Britt’s espresso after having a taste on our visit to Costa Rica and getting hooked on their Tres Rios Valdivia coffee. I’m obsessed! The beans are always freshly roasted (I’m talking under 2 weeks from when we receive the bags).

Do I love this coffee? Yes! Have I been ordering and enjoying this coffee for several decades. Yes! Visited Costa Rica and fell in love with this smooth, rich, bold coffee bean and have never looked back. In fact, I am now a coffee snob, any other coffee just doesn’t compare. By the way, I just saw an old correspondence with Cafe Britt that offered me 40 bags for $6.95/bag. I sure wished that offer was still good. Don’t miss out on this coffee experience…it is worth it.

I have been drinking Cafe Britt for over fifteen years. Once I discovered it, there’s been no looking back and no comparison. Prepared in an Aeropress, using a finer grind and water around 185 degrees…. can’t be beat! When I share it with guests, they are always amazed with the smooth flavor. I take it almost everywhere because I can’t get a comparable coffee.

We use this bean mostly for espresso. The espresso has medium body and a thick crema. It is slightly more acidic than other of Cafe Britt's darker roasts and it makes the coffee more complex. We would continue to buy Mérito if it were available.

This is my favorite coffee. I have tried the morning blend but always come back to this one. It's not heavy in taste or dark, which to my benefit has more caffeine. I add just enough vanilla or hazelnut to give it a bit of flavor and sip away.

It still allows for a rich taste after I add my “frufru” French vanilla creamer. I travel a LOT, and suffer through horrible coffee while on the road.
