As with the other youth T-shirt i ordered , this is way too big for an 8 yr old. Youth size to me means ages 8-14. Be won't be able to wear this for a few years. I bought it fir our grandson because their MA family stays at Maine's Acadia National Park for 2 weeks each summer, so now he wants to visit "all the national parks" 👍 train them while they are young!

My usual XL wasn't available, so I sized up to the 2X - rather it be a little baggy than too tight. It's a little bigger than expected, but not too much.
