Very very solid and strong. However some quibbles: 1) There is no slot to put attachment carriage bolts into the channels made for this. So if you want to attach, say a MaxTrax mount, to the TRMR rack, you have to detach one side and pry the rail up then slide the carriage bolts into the slots. Rhino rack has wider spots in the rails so you just drop the carriage bolt in and slide them to the right spot. it definitely did the job. I had to hack it to do the very obvious - which is to mount rotopax to it. While I could use the default slots, that put the tanks too far apart and most importantly, away from the structurally strongest part of the plate. I would STRONGLY suggest you just put default, easy mounting locations for the rotopax centered on each crossbar for better strength and less flex. Feel free to contact me for pix of what I did to modify.

I had to use two of the bolt holes in the round RotoPax plate to attached the plate to your Trailrax because the four square holes in the RotoPax plate did not align with any Trailrax holes. Is that right? Also, I had to coat the attachment clips with Plasti-Dip to prevent my roof from being scratched. Perhaps you should do the same. This is a decent upgrade that does make adjusting equipment/mounts on your rails a bit easier. I also applaud TrailRax for offering the upgrade program for their customers. However, buyers should be aware that the new cutouts allowing you to fit bolts into the rail slots have only been added to one side. While the product was easy to assemble and install, I found them to squeak extremely loudly, and this was just on regular roads. Offroad, they were unbearably loud, so much so I ended up taking them off. Not sure if there is a fix for it. Other than that, they look great.

The TSAM's are easy to install, enable people to mount a variety of accessories, and Trailrax is great to deal with. However, mine bent after a couple days of beach driving with a sand flag mounted. I'd suggest finding a bracket made of thicker steel.
