Well, I purchased two large splash pools for my friends who have three large dogs, and although I, and my friends, thought they were great, the dogs hated them- even without the vertical streams of water. They were afraid and would not go near them. So, after about a week, I had to return them. The dogs rule, and if they are frightened by them, then that’s it!

I have 3 pups: a Bernese Mountain dog(7 yrs), a Patterdale terrier(9 yrs), and a Catahoula lab -x(10 yrs). It has been extremely hot in our yard so I put out my Fido fave. Not a single dog will go near it! I even sat in the middle of it trying to get one of them to join me! I realized water play is not something these dogs enjoy! I loved the concept!

The bed is darling. The color and materials are just as described. My dog seems to like it. The "roof" has a crinkly sound when touched. It doesn't bother my dog so it's okay with me. My dog like to burrow into blankets so this bed is great for her.

This splash pad is exactly what is advertised. I kind of bought it more for me than the dog I am fostering because she is kind of a scardy shepherd. Just as I thought she was not too interested in it. But hey I love it! I like to turn it on and grab a beer and lay out on a hot summer afternoon. If i turn the spriklers down the chicken shepherd dog will even get in a bit with me. I am sure there are some dogs that would love this thing though. kind of hit or miss I assume.
