Overall a good Paint By Number at a good price. The paint pods (36) were very good with a good flow except for four. Two were partial fills that were very clumpy and thick. They flowed like cement. On paintly's credit they did offer to replace but I worked it out. Two others were very thin to the point they were like a stain, not acrylic. I mixed them with a similar thicker color. I love the image and the results.

It turned out so much better than I thought it would. I bought some black paint to paint along the sides of the canvas and it really made it popped. I've already ordered the rest of the set and can't wait to have them all up on the wall.

Love the colors and the completed picture. But I was not impressed with the paint itself. Some areas needed to be painted 3 times to cover the numbers. The consistency of the paint seemed fine so I don't quite know what the issue was. That being said, I would still order again from this company

I really like the custom PBN I had done of my Covid Cat Companion! I may be new (only my 3rd PBN) to Paint by Number kits and I did struggle with the fine lines and small cells but I could tell right away it was my cat! They got her eyes perfectly.
There were some issues with missing parts in the pkg of 3 kits. Customer service was excellent and they made sure that the parts were sent as quickly as possible - it does come from China so it took about 9 days for them to arrive.

The canvas is great, I did prime the canvas with gesso before painting but I’m not sure it was necessary. The paints are absolutely awesome!! Even with all the yellows & oranges, I have only used one coat. I would definitely purchase from Paintly again!!

Overall great. BUT I had issues with the red numbers bleeding through the lighter paint colors. This is very frustrating since I had to repaint over them at least 3 times to cover the numbers. Maybe there is some way to use different ink in the numbers that won't get activated by the paint?

I discovered PBN a couple of years ago and since then, I've painted over 50 canvases, purchasing from several different companies. Paintly is right up there as far as paint quality, pretty good brushes, and colored canvases (which help). The only thing I would suggest is a guide sheet. This is the only company out of several that does not send a paper guide sheet for those oops moments when you're unsure of a color. It would be very helpful! I was drawn to this painting because I lived in the Southwest for 30 years. I loved the painting’s colors and the majesty of the etched canyons I lived near. The painting was in danger of being almost “blah” because the colors didn’t strike me as being as vivid as they appeared on the website. The surprise was that once I started placing the oranges and shades of rich browns and blacks, the painting appeared much more striking. I am happy with it and will frame it!

Some of the paints were runny and didn’t cover the numbers well. I improvised with the background after the rest of it was completed. The paint brushes shed when washed. I’m happy with the result and am using the painting as the basis for redecorating my ensuite.

Looks amazing. Great amount of colours but the pots of paint are quite difficult to open and there is no where to store the paints in numerical order.
