Was really great. Loved everything, really tasty and fresh. Worried a little bit about the import tax because I'm in Norway. But I don't think I find better coffee anywhere else. Also a bit sad that the package weight wasn't a factor of 15 (basic v60 weight) but makes a great mystery brew at the end hopefully 😊

It took me some time and cups to understand this coffee. I have let it rest for 20 days, as initially did not love it. Now that I got it, I really love it. It is not your usual Ethiopian coffee with scents in your face. It is a complex, shaded coffee that require a slow sipping and attention. Given these, it will reward you.

Incredibly sweet coffee. On the 2nd of October is when I could pick the best notes: sirupy pine resin almost like retsina, intense juicy mouthfeel. Extremely clean, with a tangerine elegant essential oils finish. At 50 ppm it expresses a paté de fruit feeling. Elderberry mouth coating. I used a slightly modified double bloom version at 24 clicks on Comandante. 15-240 for a touch more concentration.

Very amusing coffee beans, roasted by professionals. No sign of bitterness is visible, while floral notes are gently sealed into the bean. Love the packaging, adds emotional value to my coffee - it feels protected and safe. The order came fast to Germany and the process had a friendly tone to it with the personalised update emails. We usually buy Kenya AA from another well-known roaster in the US. Standout offers Kenya AA as well, so we thought we would give it a try. The aroma is very easy to detect and smells fruity. I was able taste the stated taste note. Sweet and fruity with a pleasant acidic note. Although not stated, I feel like I smelling roasted almond. We roasted 4 weeks off roast and the coffee still smell and taste great!

So good I had to buy it 3 times. This coffee is truly something special. Sweet, pleasant acidity coupled with strong fruity notes and a deep syrupy texture. Standout really delivered on this roast. I found the 2x bloom as well as the 4:6 methods did very well with this coffee with a coarse ground of roughly 675 microns from burr churp on SSP Cast Burrs V2.

This little device is perfect for my daily routine, I take it to work with me and brew al least two a day for me and usually to someone else that asks to enjoy my brew. I found out that for me it works best with 30gr pours every 20sec to a tot of 150gr and then some 70gr for dilution. Very nice balanced cups, definitely recommend!

This is one of the best espressos I've had recently! I'm a Cafelat Robot user, and even while pressing the arms, I can clearly smell caramelized biscuit. This flavor is still present while drinking, though slightly less intense. For this particular bean, I highly recommend a turbo shot. A ratio of 18/40 and a maximum extraction time of 19-20 seconds gives me the perfect result.

It was a gift! super happy brother. I would just like to mention, maybe it would be smart to write in the description or somewhere that the freshness of the roast is important. I did not know this and ordered the coffee a bit too much in advance, which is sad now that I know it might have had an effect on the taste.
