I’ve got Hatch spool bands on all my reels. I love the way they keep the lines organized…they make it so easy to string the rods. I also feel they extend the life of your leader since you aren’t developing kinks in the last 8-10 inches from wrapping them around the reel seat or handle to hold them in place.

Hatch fluorocarbon made an excellent leader butt material on a recent shark trip. Abrasion resistant, with a slick finish that makes tightening knots a piece of cake. Of the various fluorocarbons I have used, it is the easiest to straighten. A strong pull, and it lays out straight for a good presentation.

Like the pilers and would suggest the lanyard goes to a coil verse bungle style. I’m changing as loop tends to snag on things especially moving around boat. I was glad to learn made in USA although still do not see where it is mentioned. I own 7-8 of your reels due to this fact. Thanks for making good product.

However, I would not consider the flannel shirt being for the East Coast flame lizard a lot different than this.
