Received my first Knit Nation in January. Did many of the word puzzles, read it cover to cover and enjoyed it all! Realized that the cowl patterns would help in the reduction of yarn stash - ended up making two of them, a draw-down of 2 skeins and 2 project leftovers. I loved my first issue! The horoscope prompted me to try a totally different type of yarn-when I saw this gorgeous sparkly Lucatape by Lucci I snagged it. Stranded together with Cascade pima, I used a stitch pattern from a crochet encyclopedia to freehand this cowl in about 4-5 hours. A perfect vacay crochet adventure, thanks for the inspiration!
