I am have now decreased to 14 stitches working my way to row 77. My biggest difficulty was finding the right weight yarn. I live 75 miles from a city with a Michaels. I wanted the yarn the pattern showed. Can you reccomend stores or websites that carry this yarn? Thanks. All your patterns are so cute and I really appreciate the youtube videos. I favorite part is the historical articles about knitting. It would be very wonderful to have patterns based off a different time in history. Everyone wants the latest greatest, but it is also wonderful to embrace historical patterns as well. It would also be fun to have articles about dying yarn and different breeds of animals and the different wools and alpacas. Education is key to being a well rounded knitter and a truly inspired one. it was a delight to get in the mail, i enjoyed the variety of material in the paper as well. I particularly enjoyed the Ask Aunt Agnes and the explanations behind the science of different baking techniques (like the different butters, which I always forget). The articles all felt written by real human beings, and not AI slop that is prevalent now. I look forward to the next installment of the story at the back with the missing cook book, and to trying out the peach tart recipe.
