Dressy enough to wear anywhere that wouldn’t require long pants. Pockets are plenty big enough, waistband is comfortable, material is light and dries quickly. You can tuck their toes in if you prefer to have their feet covered - I love that these had both options! So smart. I'm 6'-0" @ 215 lbs & usually wear a 34 waist. These are the most comfortable shorts I've ever put on in my life. I think the price is the main culprit for my procrastination of buying a pair, and I am kicking myself for not making the switch sooner. With in a week of receiving them in the mail and trying them on, I had 4 more pair ordered in different colors. Somehow Burlebo figured out a way to not sacrifice comfort while still achieving a respectable level of durability.
