This was my first time doing the glass etching with stencils on the Bee Votive Holder. A Maker's Studio stencil and etching cream products made this so easy to do. Having watched Amy and Michelle's LIVE video of this project really helped! I love that they use materials that are fairly easy to find ourselves. Although you have to be quick with the Target Dollar section because those items go fast!

I received my order from Amy Howard very promptly. It was exactly as I expected with beautiful fine details. I have used it to make some aqua coloured cushions to create a Venetian vibe in my Art Deco living room. Next project using this: place mats and linen napkins and I will use the other stencils I ordered to put borders on the napkins as well. I am so pleased. A Maker's Studio mesh stencils are heaven to work with. You get more detail due to how thin they are, and there is no bleeding. My five daughters and I had so much fun making these napkin/dish towels. The mesh stencils are SO EASY to use and so are the gel paints!! I also purchased chalk art and my little ones, 5 and 3, had a blast making chalk art pictures that we framed! One suggestion, if you are using the stencils on fabric choose a smooth fabric, my napkins have a coarse grain, so it makes the application a bit more challenging! Rookie mistake! Ha!
