These are beautiful stencils. They adhere to the paper perfectly while I apply paint. I’m very pleased with the finished product. I did mess up one stencil, I put it in the sink with water to soften the paint on it. The water ran out of the sink and the stencil stuck to the sink. A bit of the design got peeled off when I picked it up. Bummer.

I love using the Gel Art Ink on all of my textile projects, as well as wood and paper. My tea towels and pillows wash beautifully after being heat set. I first did the stencil in the black ink, heat set it then I watered down the paint and filled in the outlined areas like a coloring book. It is so fun and relaxing!

This Santa Stencil is my all time favorite. I've already created three wall plaques. It truly looks like a vintage postcard or store display. I used chalk paint with the stencil and 24 hours colored in the hat,wreath and berries with water color paint. I couldn't be more happy with the results.

I first thought they were expensive for as small as they were. When I decided to use them they were easy to adhere and when applying the paint I was surprised how little paint you needed for the stencils. When I peeled it back to see the final outcome I was shocked on how clean and precise the image was. I’ll be doing a lot more projects with these stencils for sure!!! Time to get ahead of the holidays and start making Christmas decor and gifts💕

I’ve completed several sets of corbel book ends (although I’m gonna hang at least two of them on the wall as little shelves). I practiced several techniques and learned so much (and the best lessons were usually when I messed something up). I used Cracked Glaze and various One Step colors on some and Cracked Gesso and Toscana milk paint on others and love the results of both! Instead of my original thought was to etch my window over the front door. I decided to take gold acrylic paint to the glass with A Makers Studio Paisley mesh stencil to the glass then use Rust-Oleum Frosted Glass on top. The Mesh was easy to clean and store back to the original state! This just what I needed for the private view but the style I would have never found. Thank You 😊

I had so much fun and learned so much painting and aging this decorative wooden urn/finial. I wanted to replicate Amy‘s “grody“ finish. I applied one coat of One Step “A Good Man,” followed by Cracked Patina, then one coat of One Step “Atelier.” Then I applied another coat of Cracked Patina, followed by a coat of One Step “Bauhaus Buff.” I wanted to see more of the AGM, so I used Antiquing Glaze to pull off some of the upper two colors. I will admit that I failed to read instructions and ruined an entire sheet but I purchased during a half off sale and bought double so no harm done . I recommend cutting with protective paper on so you don’t have them sticking to everything before you get them positioned . Very nice and high quality

I wanted a Christmas stencil, fell in love with the little birds, and while practicing on cardboard, realized I liked the nontraditional “red and green” combo (I love terracotta and teal/turquoise). I decided to stencil a small mirror frame for my first “real” project. These are not the stencils I remember From the 80s! These are so well-made and so easy to use. The self adhesive backing is fabulous—wash the stencil off, let it dry, and use it over and over and over again.

I had some challenges initially with this stencil, the weave in the cloth I had used was too large which caused the image to not come out very well. Once I changed fabric it came out beautifully. I absolutely love this stencil and the gel inks. They are so easy to use! This is a photo of a practice piece.

I used the black ceramic paint and the Maker’s Studio stag stencil to make this picture. I first antiqued the glass, then applied the stencil. Since the glass is too thin to put in the oven, I used a heat gun. Works great! I tested it first on a test piece of glass. I put it in the dishwasher without any problems.

I loved that a little goes a long way. I didnt have to use but a a little larger than a pea size to spread nicely over my canvas bag. The gel ink wasn't runny at all and it also washed off easily off the spreader and stencil.

I was so glad to discover this set of stencils was back in stock because it has so many Bible verses that I love. I have already made a few items with these stencils and have plans for several more projects. I have only been using A Maker’s Studio products for a short time, but I have liked every item that I have purchased. I have also been impressed by how quickly the items arrived, especially given the present shipping difficulties many are experiencing.

Loved stencils and worked perfect on both wood and tea towel! Hate that on cloth the sticky side lost after 8/9 uses. Had to use hair spray for more uses but also clogged the holes after a while. Some items worked better with pouncing sponge while other items required brush pounce. I could never get the squegie to work. Love love love the stencils though!
