My new GOOFISH BassMaster Bass Fishing rod feels great and looks just as good. I can't use it for a while though, because of winter and ice covered lakes. Combined with a high quality baitcasting reel (to be determined), it will make a great all around rod for bass, northern pike, walleye and lake trout. Excited to use it as soon as possible and will review again.

I received my new Goofish Solid Nano Slow Pitch Rod (Sassy Blue 2-piece) a short time ago. It looks and feels great! Much attention was given to assure there was no damage during shipping. Unfortunately I can't use it yet because my next trip isn't for a while and it is mid-winter and ice covered lakes where I live. Until then, I will admire it, look forward to using it and review again after use.

I have enjoyed the rods. Worked two of these rods, this past summer offshore slow pitch jigging. Pull alot of red snapper in the boat! The blue rod is tough for sure. Hook a golith grouper (about 200-250lbs) it was spooled with 40lb hollow core Jerry brown. I did not want to cut my line, and I had good knots, so it was a will of strengths. The rod did not break! The PE 2-4 LH spiral rod came in recently very well packed. There was a rod case that wasn't mentioned in the description. As soon as I get the carbureator problems on my Boston Whaler's 115 hp engine resolved I will be out the local inlet, the Gulfstream comes closest to the US straight off my town, I can be in 1000' less than 3 miles off shore. I bought the green and blue slow pitch rods with the guides twisting to the left which works really well. Only fished them a couple of times. They feel great in the hand and definitely make a jig swim better my other set ups. The green rod is best in shallower water with lighter jigs. The blue is my deep water go to. I would say that they advertise that they can handle heavier jigs than reality would dictate. If in doubt get the blue.
