I have not used the rod yet. But give Goofish 5 stars on ease of ordering, fast shipping and delivery, and great attention to safe packaging. The rod was well packed and had additional bamboo sticks to reinforce the carboard shipping cylinder. I am still debating what real to match the rod with to fish for fresh water reservoir stripers. Any advice would be great! john

Fished Santa Rosa Island off Santa Barbara. Super light jigging rod. After 4 hrs of steady jigging, you will appreciate the super light action.
I did not catch anything big. I did have huge hitchhiking Ling. It spit the rockfish before I could get it close enough to the gaff.
I ordered a second rod the next day because I liked it that much.

First, the speed of shipping was amazing. The rods I ordered were the green and the blue. I took the rods to a Key West Charter and it performed Great. The balance and action proved too much for the snowy groupers and Black Fin tunas. I am ordering the pink series as soon as the stock is in. This is a good price point rod that will not break he bank.

Went to NJ, USA to fish for blackfish & Atlantic Cod rod was sensitive in blank to feel the slightest nibble, with enough backbone to pull from 200' was looking for a colorful spinning slow pitch jigging rod this fit the bill, different, gets alot if attention for the bend and never felt shaky taking it to New Hampshire for 300' whiting and haddock will see how she responds. Great blank guide are high end. Will order another rod soon.

I was quit surprise at the quality of the workmanship, and the rod came with a very nice storage sock. To test the strength of the rod, I used a 30 pound weight and the rod held up well with no problems. I really like the spiral guide that wrap around the rod. I cannot wait to use the rod next month when I go rockfishing.

The green rod was even better than I expected. Myself and a friend used the rods for ground fish off of the Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire coast.
