I ordered on a whim, being old and actually want something with taste. So today the 500g Mixed Gourmet bag arrived with the 200g English Mix. First thing: the bags are strong and resealable and chock full. A good start. Taste test: OMG! Taste? In spades! Absolutely delicious, not just a mouthful of sugar, but real depth. These are the weirdest thing I've ever put in my mouth, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I can't stop eating them, they're the perfect combination of liquorice, chocolate, and that Parma Violet flavour that you either love or hate! My husband has had to hide the tub from me, because I just can't put them down. DELICIOUS!

I love these double salted liquorice triangles. I used to spend my summer holidays in Holland and we always ate these. I naturally lack salt in my blood tests and these are a great way to supplement salt into my diet. They remind me of happy memories and are not often found in the UK. As this is an advent calendar I obviously haven't opened it yet, but I was thrilled to receive it as I love this liquorice. However we were baffled by the 16 doors. We've heard of 12, 24 and 25 day calendars but 16 seems bizarrely random. My other half has offered to refill the first 9 doors with other surprises so I don't run out beyond the 16 December.

I absolutely love these. They are not too salty at all and are lovely just to suck on. They are the right balance between sweet and salty as well as not being too hard but not too soft either. I always order these as I don't want to be without them.

Love all your liquorice varieties, but because it is REAL liquorice rather than liquorice flavouring as it is in so many liquorice assortments, be careful not to ( tempting as it is) eat too much in one go.

I adore liquorice and I kept seeing on FaceBook glimpses of a sight that sold liquorice. Needed to know more. And it was a sight that had hundreds of flavours of liquorice. I didn't know! So I tried some, a small box of mixed and a packet of laces. And I'm going to get more. The taste was amazing, totally different to what I had been experiencing. I am hooked.

Liquorice takes me back to being a kid. The smell and taste take me instantly back to sherbet fountains on holidays and liquorice allsorts at Christmas or brought by my aunty for birthdays.
