Back to my childhood the torpedoes were great, with a nice and crisp shell. I did share all be it grudgingly as they were so good.

These are like the old fashioned liquorice black jacks that I grew up with. Quite hard, so suck on them a minute and they will soften pretty quickly. Strong flavour and do dye your mouth. Really great taste, hence the 5 stars.
I also like the fact that they are a good size toffee. The toffee doesn’t stick to the wrapper either and you can get the piece out easily without getting sticky fingers.

Arrived in good time, nicely packaged though so tight in the outer box I couldn't get it out on my own. It needed two people one to hold and one to pull!
Inside the goodies were well displayed and a great assortment of textures and flavours. The products themselves are very tasty and moreish, just wish there were twice as many in each pack!

Probably the best things to come out of Yorkshire (apologies to the top sportsmen and women, yes, even you Jessica!) They are soft and chewy and always on my list of favourites. Please keep supplying them and keep Pontefract special, for the sake of all those athletes from the White Rose county. P.s. I have always been a fan of liquorice but I didn't realise just how much of a fan I was until I received the Gourmet collection. With a fantastic selection of liquorice from around the world I was exposed to flavours I'd never tried before and wow I was not disappointed. Everything from juicy sweet to tongue tingling salty the gourmet selection delivered exactly what it promise too. Supermarket bought liquorice is dry and tasteless so I bought your selection with a small bit of wonder if it would be the same. I was so pleased with how liquorice can taste. The flavours are so varied , you just have to try another. I could eat a whole bag in a day. I haven’t found a taste I don’t like except perhaps wasp sting a good name.
