My son is graduating from his Te Wharekura o Mauao this year. We got the taonga to be presented to him up Mauao after it has been blessed. My father was a shepherd and always had a white handled butcher knife on him and having 3 boys I always wanted to give my boys one each as a reminder of their Papa.
