I was wondering if I chose the model with the most diamonds in the blade. It just looks like way less diamonds than usual. I’m doing this work very very long time. I’m just not getting the longevity out of these blades than what I used to. But I will say I was paying more 8-12 years ago for same size blade but back then they would brag how much diamonds were contained and had levels affordable to over 1000 for exact same size blade just the level amount of diamonds added to teeth was way more.

This bit was exactly what I was looking for in a particular project. I needed to slightly enlarge a hole in a concrete block and and do it with some precision. This bit was perfect. The downside was that it had a short life. It worked well at first, but soon became difficult as it became worn. I didn't think that I was going to be able to complete the job with one bit, but I struggled and finished. One job and the bit is done.

Longevity…definitely was able to do a lot more granite removal with these Boss Hog discs! Leaked the fact that it took a long time for this disc to wear down even though I was working with a granite piece!

It is excellent for the ability to make cuts in walls larger than ten inches.
But it has limitations that must be addressed, such as:
1. Turning off when trying to make horizontal cuts in the walls.
2. Have more cut-off wheel options based on the amount of steel in the concrete walls

Works great we are using it in a circular saw to cut IMP (insulated metal panels)that are 4” thick one pass with the saw and diamond blade cuts through without having to flip the panel and do a second pass.

Great blade. It cut most of my geology specimens ( asteroid ejecta breccia, impact melt breccia, glacial till breccia …. (From Sudbury, Ontario Asteroid Impact)
But the blade could not handle a 4” cut of metamorphic jasper or metamorphic amethyst
from Mesabi Range, Minnesota … and could not cut 4” section of petrified wood from Show Low, AZ.
So I’m 80% satisfied. But would appreciate if you could locate a blade that can do the rest…

These are nice to have but it seems like they should last longer for the cost. I'm cutting lime mortar that is harder than it seems it should be. When I first start, they are great but it seems like they quickly degrade after about 60 liniar feet. Even with hard mortar, I'd like a little more bang for my buck.
