Didn't realize how worn the old blade was until I started cutting with the new one. Cut's, super smooth and reduces the noise. I've learned one thing about lapidary blades that you should spend the extra money to get a good blade then buy cheap because they don't last. Although I can't afford it, I wonder how the $1,000 blade would work.

wish i could explain the photos better, they deserve captions. i bought 2 replacements for the blade on the dewalt, as i believed it was at the end of its life. the chisel was freshly sharpened for marking the 1/2 inch steel for the cut, i took a picture as circled because that is what happened when i hit the chisel, it barely dented the now i know is hardened steel. made 2 cuts with the used blade then after cut an oxygen tank open for recycling, took the top and bottom off using the same blade...

The adapter worked great. Chuck size 1/2” or greater. I prefer the adapter to use with a drill rather than a grinder where the adapter is not needed. I can control both the angle and pressure better with the adapter and drill.

I tested the 1 3/4” bit today in 1 1/4” flagstone. It worked well. The holes were clean cut on both sides with very little chipping on the back side. Technique is important. To start low speed, at an angle to control the bit, gradually rotating to full contact. After full contact and the bit is not walking, changing to high speed, keeping stone wet. Took about 2-3 minutes per hole. The pics are front and back sides of same two holes.

Well I ordered the wrong size, but they were ready to fix that instantly. I love this blade. It cuts cleanly thru Adventurine, Amazonite, Lapis, Chalcedony and Agates ,Quartz and Granite. A great investment for rock cutters.

Needed to slot a heavy wall 1.25 DOM tube with .281 wall thickness quickly & consistently & at a 1/4" opening. Tried a milling process but took way to much time. Tried a tube laser but annealing occurred with lots of heat added to the part & a jagged slot face. So we found this diamond blade and gave it a try. On a Rigid table saw no less. Bought this blade to replace the blade on a used 18" Lortone saw I recently bought. This blade cuts effortlessly through agates and leaves a nice finished surface. I will also buy a 10" for my trim saw next. Highly recommend this blade.

Ordered an 18" blade for lapidary work. This blade was among those with the best price. Later, I got an email about my cart not being empty so I called (it was a minor mix up on my part, not theirs). I was VERY pleasantly surprised when an actual human picked up and dealt with me in a matter of a few minutes. No 15 step stupid phone menu!!!
