Every time I order something I always find gold. I have tried a few other places that say they have paydirt but have found nothing to just a couple little flakes of gold. I was surprised and excited when I received my order and found not two (BOGO) paydirt bags, but four (double BOGO). I set up my sluice and ran all 4 bags. I then panned the pay again. For good measure I re-sluiced the “tailings” . Didn’t want to miss anything. Got a total of .22 grams which is a little below average. There is still some really fine gold in the black sand, so I’m not quite done yet. Gives this old Jarhead something to do in my spare time.

This review is based on several bags. The gold is not terrible. Couldn’t find a museum quality specimen but the gold I found was very nice. As your panning skills get better, keep all your black sand. There is nice fine and flower gold to had with patience. It is GOLD, don’t let it slip through your fingers.

Hi after opening 20 one pound bag. Lots of fun. I was able to shift the bigger grem out first. Using and 1/8 cup of paydirt poured in pan the pan away. I knew I saw some go into my bigger bin so I got out the blue bowl looking to pick up the rest of the gold. Marc

This is some of the gold I got from a few bags of pay dirt. Occasionally a bag has more than expected which is nice. Usually the two for one deals won’t give you twice the gold from two bags. Overall after testing many different brands of pay dirt, this brand comes out at second to best. A few bags I’ve purchased from other companies are unrealistic. I panned a total of 3 regular sized bags a one 20 pound bag and this is what I found. There was one nugget that weighed a quarter gram. I was hoping for better but wasn’t really expecting it. Not sure if I will buy anymore due to the low amount of gold. It was fun and exciting when I found the nugget but I was disappointed when my last two pans out of the 20 pound bag had no gold. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
