I have been a firefighter (EMT until 2017) in Harrison, Maine since 1986 and plan on retiring in September, on my 70th birthday. Purchased this for my son's birthday on 3/30/2021. He was a firefighter with FDNY on Middagh St. in Brooklyn (Engine/Ladder #'s ??) and was a first responder to the WTC on 9/11. He spent many weeks on the pile. Eventually had to retire due to health issues and now lives in AZ with his family.

I love the challenge coin, but the delivery from Fedex was much longer than I expected. Several times the delivery date was extended by Fedex. I was not satisfied with the way the package looked upon receiving it. Very damaged and I fully expected the coins to be damaged. Fortunately the was they were packaged is the only reason I did not return the items.
