I ordered the new wide shoe size with the high-top style. The shoes felt a bit tight and narrow at first, but after a few days of use they broke in and are super comfortable. I love them and I would recommend them.

True to Size. wides are not a normal "wide" definitely run more narrow. About 48-50 hours of wearing before break-in was complete, but they are rather comfortable, seem to be durable and have taken construction abuse rather well so far. Customer service was amazing when it came to needing an exchange my mod-2 had a factory defect and took an exchange no questions asked, over all nice shoes like the look and have functioned great for what I needed.

About 48-50 hours of wearing before break-in was complete, but they are rather comfortable, seem to be durable and have taken construction abuse rather well so far. Customer service was amazing when it came to needing an exchange, over all nice shoes like the look and have functioned great for what I needed.

I generally take a 13 regular, and reading reviews that advised to buy a size up for width, I was delighted to see them bring out wide sizes - just when I was shopping for new boots! Compared my mod1 to mod2 wide, was a difference of maybe 1mm in width, but mainly more room for the pinky toe. They changed the breather hole brass, I poked my finger on the screen of the mod 2, great for testing blood sugar. Would like to see another shape offered, maybe one with no breather holes so I can make water proof/resistant.

I also like to dress respectably and comfortable. Couple that with riding my motorcycle, hiking and traveling around the world half the year, making for some tough requirements. I NEEDED these!

I don’t know what it is, but when I look at these online, they appear yellowish tan, but it’s actually light OD green. Other than that, I LOVE my black MOD 2’s and I’m fine with the color of the green ones. You guys make good stuff!

I have always been a chuck taylor wearer but I have wide feet. The woobies wide fit perfect! My feet don’t blow out the sides. The quality of the shoe feels better as well. The fact that woobies are American made and veteran operated just made these shoes my number 1 go to! Will buy a couple more pairs. *cough* make a coyote tan or FDE woobie *cough*

I love my WOOBIES shoes and these are no different. I did notice one slight negative with the operator series… the drain holes are not the same as used on the regular Mod-1/2s and use this flimsy metal mesh. Within a day or two the mesh was already catching on things and tearing off. I managed to slice my finger pretty good on some loose mesh wires from the drain holes. If they kept the old drain holes these would easily be the best shoes they have. Otherwise they’re great

Second pair of Woobies, first Mod 2. They are super comfortable right away. No break in needed. They are stylish enough to be noticed and complimented. They are comfortable enough to wear for 10 shifts walking on concrete all day. They are super comfy hiking and I like that they dry quickly. I wear them to all but formal occasions. Awesome shoe. True to fit size and comfortable for a water shoe. Very satisfied with the product and would buy again. Only thing wrong is the pull tabs on the back. Very weak and snapped one the second time wearing them. Now I just don’t use them. Still a great shoe and more than fulfills the needs for duties on water and land.

So, the first two days my feet hurt! These shoes are very narrow. After loosening the laces quite a bit it was better. I’ll be getting more comfortable inserts with arch support soon. These shoes fit smaller than advertised. I was under the impression they were sized like converse. If you wear a size 10 in converse, get a 10 1/2. If you are even close to being a wide, get a wide. I ordered a pair of the gray Mod 1 Woobies and absolutely love the quality and fit. The toe area took a little while to break in where the heavy stitching is, but no more than any other high quality footwear (like boots). I like them so much, that I ordered the Black pair for my son for his birthday. They are stylish enough for a teenager to wear to school, with all the great support needed to protect his feet from long term damage.
