I purchased the Berberine 5x with high hopes of seeing some weight loss. I have taken it for almost a month and have gained 5 lbs. I have taken it twice a day as directed and I have eaten balanced meals. I balance my meals by having white fish, chicken or turkey with fibrous carbs such as broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, green beans etc. Only occasionally having natural carbs such as potatoes, corn or fruit. If I eat fatty proteins, I only use the fibrous carbs with those.
