I am one of the many, who had Charles Chips delivery during my childhood. My siblings and I would search for the hidden can of chips and snack while watching Dark Shadows on TV. Charles Chips is a part of my childhood that I shared with my sister on her birthday - sending her a can of chips and a hat. She loved it! Nostalgia at it's best.

Regular standard issues chips are light, crisp and a tad undersalted which for me is preferred. Salt and Vinegar chips pack a very sour, acrid and salty crunch. I also find them to be too thick. Not a fan as they taste artificial even though there are all natural ingredients. Stick with the old school chip and you can't go wrong.

The only snacks my husband grew up with was Charles Chips potato chips and pretzels. Delivered to their house every week. I bought the chips as a Christmas gift blast from the past. I someone I follow on FB buy Charles’ Chips for his dad for the holidays. It brought back so many memories. I searched online and purchased the can with refill for my mom for Christmas. I can’t explain how happy & excited she was when she opened the gift! In addition to the chips being delicious, it brought her back to another place in time.
