I tried Espresso for the first time. I used it as my base color (back of hair) and highlighted the front with Bronze Beauty (FYI one of my favs!). Espresso did define my curls however, it's a little messy and transfers a lot than all the other colors have used. Overall I'll give it "an okay".

I didn't like this color on me but I also don't think I put enough in.
Pros: silky texture, rinses off hands very easily and washes out easily as well.
Cons: messy and dries crunchy. I have silk pillow cases so I don't have to wrap my hair but was concerned about transfer so I wore a bonnet. There was transfer inside the bonnet.
I'd recommend it if you're just wearing it for the day and gonna wash it out. Make sure you apply heavy though, if you have dark hair.

I have grey hair and purchased the sunset. I was very pleased with the color along with the grey. It washed out without any problems and left my grey unscathed. No strong odor. Didn't feel "crunchy" once it dried.
Regrettably, it did not wash out of the collar of my dress. I read there might be some transfer but was under the impression it would rinse out. I'd purchase again and would recommend it but with a cautionary mention.
