Bought this as a gift and liked it so much I had to get one for myself. I purchased the 24" versions, which make for nice wall accents. The paint has a nice subtle prism-like reflection. It is somewhat fragile, particularly around the finer cuts on the metal. The mounting is good though a little pricey in my opinion. I wish they had something for drummers.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the edges are very sharp so you need to be extra careful in handling the piece.
