Blue Kazoo’s newest and gorgeous “Across the Continent - A Vintage Travel Series” reminds me of my travels through Taiwan. We took the high speed rail from Tapei to Kaohsiung then took regular trains back up to check out Tainan and Taichung.

This puzzle was hard for a couple of reasons. I think time spent is a measure, and I spent a lot of it on every part before ever getting to the blue background! I actually found piecing the background (about 1/4 of the pieces) much more relaxing and fun despite the time it took. I will explain more as this review goes forward. Quality: Acceptable. I am so excited I received my package too! I actually pre ordered it as a gift for my brother. He is a huge space “nerd” (as am I) and he’s one of those tough to buy for people when it comes to birthdays and Christmas so I bought this as soon as I saw it!! Box is smaller than anticipated. Matte finish. Sticks a little when taking top off. I would have recommended making the inside box smaller to have better feel when opening. The blue kazoo logo on the bag is a nice touch.

As a not too experienced puzzler, I'd say it's a good quality puzzle, on par with Ravensburger puzzles. I knew it was going to be difficult, but I still underestimated the 1000pc Sun. It was my first round jigsaw puzzle, which comes with at times quirky piece shapes. It's a solid recommendation - just don't underestimate it ;)

Print quality is good, packaging is great. However, when I had to complete the darker shades, it got a bit frustrating because the backside of the puzzles is also black, which made it a lot harder to see and focus. additionally, some puzzles print peeled off a little. overall, a good experience.

When I started sorting I thought it was going to be too hard but there was enough variation to the color sections to get the job done. The sky is by far the hardest part but doable. The colors are vibrant and the detail is pretty fantastic. Overall I really enjoyed it! This is honestly one of my favorite puzzles that I’ve ever done. My inner Gen X child loves the nostalgia of it, and because there’s so much going on, it makes a perfect visual for a puzzle. They seriously need to make more Richard Scarry puzzles - I would buy them all!! Also, the quality of the pieces is the best I’ve seen. Highly recommend!

Very high quality pieces but background color from interior of box shouldn't match pieces on any side. Poster colors are brighter than the actual puzzle. This is much more noticeable in Meridian which I gave away. Big turnoff for me, though love everything else. "Daughter" attracts me, but won't be purchasing anymore for now, even with the 20% discountf or comments / pics.
