I love solid colour sarees and this one was absolutely GORGEOUS! ( Even better in person! ) The saree fabric is light, very easy to drape and most importantly- stays in place even without pins! 😅 Probably one of the very few sarees I was comfortable wearing ALL day- and I usually don’t wear them. I received a ton of compliments :)

Loved the fabric- the natural sheen of chanderi gets accentuated with zari and lends the sari a very rich look (and perhaps also makes it heavier in weight than I had anticipated). Even my neighborhood laundry lady could tell the zari work and went all gaga over it! The fact that this rich piece is otherwise plain on the aanchal too makes it all unpredictable in a good way 😀.
