Install was simple enough and the instructions were pretty clear. Make sure when stacking the plates on the guide rods that the side with the plastic flange is up or you end up un racking and re-racking them because some will clang loudly. Just got this rack all put together. Installation was straight forward and went well. Not going to lie, the metal the rack is made of isn’t as thick as most other racks I’ve used. When tightening bolts you could easily make a dimple in the metal with just using a wrench and socket. Assembly was not difficult-its super nice that every fastener has either 14 or 17mm and wrenches are included. An impact driver speeds things up, while having the kids help is fun. It is very sturdy front to back, with OK rigidity side to side, this could be improved a bit. Summary: Perfect for my first time setting up a garage gym. Pros: Affordable. Easy assembly (I did it by myself in about 3 hours). Allows for a ton of exercise variety. Seems very sturdy (I’ve done heavy rows, rack pulls, squats & shrugs in the rack). Customer service was easy to work with. Cons: It’s a short rack.
