Having been to the Long Room at Trinity College in Dublin to view the Book of Kells, I knew I had to have this candle. I remember turning the corner to ascend the steps to the Long Room, smelling the leather, ink, and old pages from over a century of collecting, and then having my breath taken away as I entered that sacred place of knowledge with its soaring ceiling and dark wood. Every time I light my candle, I return to that thrilling moment.

I bought the mini collection when it first came out and loved it, so when the full collection was released, I knew I had to have it!! This collection does not disappoint and I love every scent! Each candle smells lovely but the collection is also lovely when considered all together.

I got the Poet candle via subscription & when I read the description of chamomile & melon I felt disappointed. I am not usually one for lighter scents, preferring candles like the Tudor Library, Dwarven Forge & Fireside Fables. But I love this candle! It’s light & summery & makes me feel happy! This one will get burned down to the glass. I would reorder one, if I could, to burn during the rainy cold days ahead to remind me that spring & summer will return.

At first smell I felt absolutely transported!‘Steeped in Stories’ makes me feel like I could be sitting in the window of a magical bookstore in the middle of a lush evergreen forest and it’s raining. A floral cup of tea steaming close by and an epic fantasy ready to immerse me. The scent of ‘Love letters on the writing desk’ makes me think of scratching out poetry late into the night by the light of a lone candle. Truly magical as always!

I cannot wait to light this one. I am being patient for Fall to light it. But the cold scent is so soothing. I get the description as pumpkin spice for adults. It will be the first Fall candle lot for the home to welcome the season.

Honestly I was blown away. First all everything was packaged with care. Secondly the items that were chosen arrived in perfect condition and were made from quality materials. Lastly the candles far exceeded what I was expecting as this was my first order. I showed them to my Mom and was lucky to make it back home with both of them. I highly recommend you trying the candles if not the subscription box as well.

I loved the Epic Scent Quiz! Such a creative & fun way to discover our scent preferences! This quiz recommended Fall into the Feywild, You're Lost in a Forest, Forest Hag's Hut and the Enchanted Forest Bundle. I took the plunge and ordered all of them and I am so glad that I did! Has the same original scent of the Fjord Snow Queen, however the vessel is white on the outside and gold on the inside, which fits the description of the candle perfectly. It is also a bit bigger in size and the cover is metal so it fits over the candle instead of the wooden lids. Perfect candle for a cool winter evening.

I was pleasantly surprised by the mystery box. It contained two full sized candles in addition to a car freshener. The scents happened to include one of my very favorites, Wizard's Pipe Weed. So I definitely lucked out! The other scent was delightful as well and came in the deluxe version candle.

The long awaited subscription box arrived with great anticipation and I was not disappointed. Unwrapping each item was a delight. The scent of each candle was transporting, the perfectly shaped mug was a grand surprise as was the book, promising an entire multi-sensory other-world retreat. If that was the intent, job well done. Overall, this set is my favorite. The scents are on the sweeter side and actually seem to be truer to what I expected. I like as well that these samplers are larger than others I have had. It really allows me to fully enjoy the scents while deciding which larger one I want.

I absolutely LOVE these kits! The quality is the same as all Mythologie candles, but I feel a bit better being able to reuse old vessels or grabbing my own. My only complaint is not knowing what scents are coming but I haven’t had one I didn’t like so honestly? I’m kind of glad it’s a surprise and I get to try some candles I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.

I am "Country Girl at 75" who lives in Indy. This candle takes me back to the days I lived on my farm. Walks in the woods in the rain looking for new calves and making sure the cows were ok. To me that was heaven. Great candle.

I love this candle! I’m really getting a verdant green forest after it rains smell, I really get some nice strong hints of palm and that sweet, calming aloe. It smells like a very fresh but nice calming scent and would definitely buy again!
