I bought two, a lemon and a coral, one for each of my fanny packs that I take hiking. They have made me feel so much safer, as I usually hike alone. They work beautifully, emitting a really alarming noise and flashing blinding lights; and they’re really easy to activate. I may give some as gifts! They are great!

when i bought this i originally didn't know how loud it would be. fortunate for me i accidentally set it off trying to put it on my lanyard, which at first was rather starting, but also relieving (because i know no it works). anyways, while i'm on here another reason why you should get this is the gold key ring, yeah you can get one on Amazon sure... but this one is perfect for holding extra hair ties. and is really convenient + isn't ugly. i would definitely recommend buying this :)

I am a hiker, and I put myself in some potentially dangerous situations. 1) I hike alone, and 2) I hike in mountain lion territory. I’ve never had to actually use my Birdie, fortunately, but I feel about 1,000 times more confident knowing I have it and that it’s so easy to activate. No mountain lion, or person, I hope, is going to want to hang around for that kind of noise! I’ve given these as gifts, too, to my daughters and hiking friends.

I am so tired of constantly being afraid pumping gas, walking to my car, doing ANYTHING alone—so when I came across this on an Instagram ad, I bought one for myself and my two sisters! I keep mine right next to my keys on my purse. When I am walking at night or in area where I feel even a little bit nervous, I keep my hand on the Birdie, knowing that I can just yank it off and send an alarm immediately. It makes me feel safer. I love my rose metallic birdie it's small, cute, easy to carry and very convenient and easy to use! I bike a lot and used to carry mace but by the time i pulled it out and made sure it was pointed in the right direction it did not seem practical.
