I did feel powerful when I ran with my birdie for the first time. I do like that it’s a very lightweight alarm. My only qualm is that I have to be holding it for the duration of my run in order to access it quickly. There is no way for me to comfortably attach it to myself. The alarm is very piercing and allows me some comfort when running alone. I would recommend purchasing a birdie to other women. I’ve already told several of my friends who plan to get their own.
