This is the second time that I have purchased a metal template from That Flag Company. This one is for a 4ft flag and it worked great, as expected. The thick steel construction lets me use it as a sled to give me very flat stars. I look forward to buying a 5ft and 6ft template in the future.

This template is a great tool to carve with! I found the dremel to be a tough option for carving on a hardwood like walnut (I burned through four bits just on this project), but if a CNC is not available it definitely does the job! It requires a fair amount of finish work post carving but the template is very high quality and I could see it lasting for a good number of projects.
