I don't drink gin normally but having experienced it and after visiting the distillery when we came for the fringe a few years ago I now enjoy the odd g and t and would have nothing else. Lovely.

Bought 2 litres and 1 already gone!! The most versatile of gins. Whether making straight up Martinis or more complex Negronis, this gin fits perfectly. Just sad that the litres have disappeared.

It's a beautiful gin but I can understand why you are discontinuing the litre bottles - they weigh a 'ton'! I did have trouble opening the bottle too - ir took me ages to get the (plastic) cork out if the bottle - at one point I thought I'd have to keep it just as decoration!!

Pickerings Original is our favourite gin - I bought a bottle each for my grown up children, plus one for my son-in-law's aunt in Norfolk whose favourite gin it also is. Delivery was quick and problem free

I bought the gin baubles to give as Christmas presents so I have not yet had the pleasure of tasting them myself. I know from previous years the gin baubles have been extremely popular and have sold out very quickly. I am sure this year's baubles will be of the same high quality. I will feed back any comments I receive from the intended recipients in due course.

It is great, only problem is that it is too bloody tasty and addictive. I drink it straight, in coffee and with coke so the order does not last long… 😋😋😋

For me this is the best of the Three Queens Gin. I was lucky enough to try it for the first time aboard the Queen Mary 2 and since then I had to get a bottle of my own to enjoy at home.

Very easy to order nothing else to do but sit and wait for it to arrive. It arrived relatively quickly and the packaging was very strong and secure meaning the gin arrived in one piece. Lovely looking bottle and the gin itself is superb.

Outstanding Gin!! My most favourite non flavoured gin on the market. When I buy a bottle or two it's put away and only for my consumption. It's even really good just on it's own over ice 😁

Bought as a birthday gift after actually drinking it on the Queen Elizabeth in July! Love the taste, the bottle is decorative and was received by a very happy lady.

This gin has really given me a headache! I have always been a fan of the regular Pickerings gin ( a superb product) but having tried this Scottish Botanicals I have found another fantastic gin which is probably even better than the regular Piikerings gin! We really do love this product and keep it now as a special treat. Well done to all the great people at Summerhall Distillery another great winner.

I love the taste of Pickerings Gin, so much so that it is the only gin I now buy. I recently received a 'taster' 5cl bottle of the Broody Hen whisky and thoroughly enjoyed that too! Delivery is always prompt and the item well packed. Altogether I very much recommend Summerhall Distillery and their products.

Loved the 1947 since first trying it in Edinburgh a couple of years ago. Love the city and fully intended to return (and pick up more bottles from your distillery!), but rail strikes got in the way. Soooo glad I resorted to an online purchase - service was excellent and delivery very quick. My 2 bottles are hiding in my wardrobe, away from my adult daughters for now - but they will be treated soon!

I cannot share with everyone what the gin tastes like as it’s a present but I have ordered things before from this company and they deliver quickly and the websites easy to navigate

The taste is as the tasting notes describe! I used the suggestion garnish of apple and raspberry so had 2 of my 5 a day! Very good! My 2nd favourite after Queen Victoria...

This is a lovely clean-tasting gin, with just the right balance of botanicals. It's spoiled me for any other gin. I drink it with a few ice cubes and Mediterranean tonic and it goes down a treat! I will be ordering more in the New Year.

One of my favourite all time gins. My partner and I love Pickerings and have followed them for years and been on their tours many times. It's a shame that they've ditched the wax caps on their bottles which was all part of the distinctive brand image and suggested a certain quality, in favour of a quite cheap-looking thin plastic covering.

Oh my goodness, this gin is amazing. My sister and I enjoy this when we get together. I love it with a slice of grapefruit, lots of ice and some tonic.

My favourite gin has been Pickerings for a few years but I have now found a gin which beats it, yes it is another of your wonderful gin’s Scottish Botanicals. Fabulous gin my new favourite.

This is the best gin you can buy. The best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tried a fair few! It’s smooth and dry and just seems to have a taste that other gins don’t have, it’s perfect with tonic and lots of ice on a summers evening, or anytime, any excuse! Ha..

My "go-to" gin! Always have to have a bottle in the house. My absolute favourite and no other comes close. I love the liquorice/aniseed flavouring which only needs a very plain tonic to enhance the experience.

Without doubt my favourite gin although the Navy runs it a close second. Will be the drink of choice at my wedding in October The 1947 makes a mean martini

The usual excellent service providing this outstanding product. I used to think that my standard Pickerings gin was the best but Scottish Botanicals has taken over now. Fabulous quality gin.

As a person who enjoys gin, this is by far my favourite. The botanics are exactly as described, the result is a unique flavour which is perfect with a light tonic. The website is easy to use and they deliver quickly.

I bought this gin as a gift for my daughter in law who loves it. I believe that she has visited your distillery before with her family. It is her favourite gin.

I tend to drink a lot of Hebridean gins that are heavy on the botanicals but I also like more of a clean classic gin from time to time. Pickerings is a premium quality refreshing gin from my home city and I love it. Don’t think it will last long.

This was a gift for my sister in Fochabers. She was delighted one of the gins was 1947 - her year of birth. No feed back on the product taste but I’m sure she’ll love it! Good customer service when asking about discrete packaging. We love your products and have visited your distillery Heather xx

It was a Secret Santa gift for a confirmed gin enthusiast ... they loved it and weren't aware that Cunard had their own specific gins attributable to each of their ships - I think that's a really special touch.

first tasted this while on one of the engaging tours of the distillery. Love the notes of cinnamon and spice that give this gin a really distinctive flavor. I bought some after the tour and was pleased that friends agreed how good it is.

I have been drinking the original 1947 as my house gin since discovering it during a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. I find it beautifully crisp with a perfect spicy note. The only negative is your recent decision to stop supplying it in 1 litre bottles.

We really like Pickering’s gin. Perfect for a nice cold drink before dinner. We’ve given bottles to friends and family and they all say that it is a really well flavoured gin.

Pickering's 1947 is the gin that made me a gin drinker. I went on the distillery tour a couple of years ago and got a taste for it, my drinks cupboard has not been without a bottle since. Great spicy flavour, I usually drink it neat or just with ice, but it pairs well with tonics also.

I had the pleasure of a tour a few months back, and was keen to try a couple more of the gins that I did not get to taste that time. The Scottish botanicals gin is wonderful, maybe even a rival for the 1947 original, which was the favorite I came away with on my visit. I was also curious to try the Broody Hen, which turns out to be about the smoothest whisky I've had the pleasure to drink. Wonderful aromas, and perfect over ice. I'll be ordering more of this for sure :)

The blending of milk thistle, heather and sea buckthorn with a hint of rose and blackcurrant makes for a beautifully tasty, well balanced gin, add a quality tonic coupled with plenty of ice and you have the perfect drink for sipping on a hot summers evening.
